“Here is a collection of celebrity-related mosaics I have created. While working on a mosaic, I like to fully immerse myself in the subject’s life. By listening to their albums, watching documentaries, and reading about their journeys, I learn more and develop a deeper appreciation for their careers. Occasionally, newly discovered details influence my choices as the piece progresses. For example, I was once stuck on a background color for my first Freddie Mercury mosaic. I learned that yellow was reportedly one of his favorite colors, which inspired me to use a blend of yellow glass scraps I had been saving to complete the project.”
